1) Who we are
This policy describes how the Ultra 8 / T800 / T900 Guide app handles data when you use it.
Developer: Andrei-Cristian Romascu-Radu
Contact: aca_appps@proton.me
2) What the app does
The app provides guides and troubleshooting steps. It does not require an account and generally does not ask you to enter personal information.
3) Advertising (AdMob) and consent (Google UMP)
The app may show ads through Google AdMob. For users in the EEA/UK (and where required), the app may request consent using Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
If the consent flow is unavailable or does not complete, the app may continue to function without ads.
- Ads provider: Google AdMob — Google Privacy Policy
- Consent: Google UMP — part of Google’s SDK used to manage consent.
4) Tracking (ATT / IDFA)
On iOS, the app may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission to allow access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) and deliver more relevant ads.
If you decline, the app remains usable; ads may be disabled or less relevant depending on your consent settings.
5) What data may be collected
The app does not directly collect personal data (e.g., name, address) through an account. However, through advertising SDKs, some data may be processed for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and ad performance measurement.
Examples of data that may be processed by ads/consent providers:
- Device identifiers (e.g., IDFA if permitted via ATT, or other identifiers for advertising purposes)
- IP address (often used for approximate location such as country/city)
- Performance data (e.g., events related to ad delivery and display)
- Diagnostics data (errors/crash information, if reported by SDKs)
Note: Data used for advertising can depend on your consent choices, device settings, and the ads SDK configuration. For details about how Google processes data for advertising, see the Google Privacy Policy.
6) How we use data
- to display ads and limit their frequency
- to prevent fraud/abuse
- for measurement (aggregated statistics about ad performance)
- for diagnostics (if reported by SDKs)
7) Data sharing
Data may be shared with third-party providers strictly for the purposes described above:
- Google (AdMob / UMP)
8) Data retention
The app does not maintain a local profile with personal data. Data processed by third parties is retained according to their policies.
9) Your rights (GDPR / other laws)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as access, deletion, objection, or portability. For data processed by Google via AdMob/UMP, you can consult Google’s policies or contact us for guidance.
10) Children
The app is not intended for children under the minimum legal age for consent in their jurisdiction.
11) Changes
We may update this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be adjusted.
